i inserted memory card from camera and f: not accessible i/o error appeared what do i do to get it to work ?

how can i fix the problem i really need my pictures from this thing! its my first time to use a memory card and lol now im not sure if i should have. HELP!

Unfortunately, there is no way of escaping from memory cards when it comes to photos these days. Kodak USA is no longer selling negatives so, its all memory card from here on. Which operating system are you using? this is common with older systems. If you are usng XP or later, system should automatically recognise any camera that is plugged in. If you are using memory card reader, it should be automatic as well. Altermative is to reload any driver software you got with your camera and see how it goes from there. All else fails, use someone else's computer and burn the photos onto CD and use it from there.

From your question I am assuming that you are using a card slot on your computer. I would suggest getting a card reader or using the cable to get the photos off of the card through the camera. (My suggestion would be the card reader though)
