...which is a better camera, the Samsung SL420 or the Sony DSC-W120?

...i can get either, used, at comparable prices. Samsung has 10.2 MP, 5X, some bells and whistles, great reviews from Steves-digicams.com....(note-relatively a new release.) The Sony, a few years older, 4X, 7.2 MP, reviewed and covered thoroughly.....a nice camera, known commodity, good IQ and performance, but I'm wondering if the SL420, same price, is worth a flier due to the seemingly feature-laden set.. Again, Steve's Digicams was one of the few major P&S Photo sites to review it yet and came away duly impressed.

Any thoughts, anyone have experience with the Samsung, or hopefully, both?

thnx

both great cameras, i would get whatever was cheaper, you dont need 10mp unless your printing posters, 4x zoom compared to 5x?? thats up 2 u, u gonna need that extra zoom? sony uses pro duo cards, where samsung has Sd prolly, and you might have an extra sd card laying around?? both i know are good. i would get the camera that looks like it was used less prolly. w/o any scratches and stuff. well gl :P

Samsung SL420

with sony you will need a proprietary memory stick which can only be used with sony products well this is not the cas with samsung. Also the reviews for SL420 are good you can read those here and even the picture quality is good enough.
