So, I was wondering... Can you film video on it? Thanks!
Terms first. Digital cameras don't "film" - that's only in the movies. Digital cameras record.
No you can't record video on it. I own one and it doesn't do video.
Nope. If recording videos is what you're shooting for, I would suggest buying a camcorder instead - unless photography is more important to you than making videos.
Answer by T. Le on 30 Dec 2009 10:26:39It is an excellent camera but it can not do video.
Here are the three best DSLRs that do video that I know of:
Canon EOS Rebel T1i (500D) DSLR Kit w/EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Lens - $769
Nikon D5000 12MP DSLR Camera with 18-55mm VR Lens - $649
Pentax K-x 12MP DSLR with 18-55mm Zoom (has HD Video also) - $550
I provide some links below, the first goes to a webpage that has the above 3 cameras on a listing page where you can compare features/specs and there are links on that page to reviews for each of the cameras. The other links I list here are to photo dealers to share some options to help you find a good deal.
Hope this helps. Good luck.
Mark
