Lost the disc and am having trouble finding something online. OS is windows 7.
any other recommendations for photo software would be great too.

You don't need the software that Canon gave you, it is pretty basic. A good replacement for it would be Google's Picasa photo manager software. It has a really nice user interface and lets you do all the basic adjustments and it Free. For more advanced manipulation you can get GIMP, which is like a free Photoshop but not quite. Another image editor that is kinda in between Picasa and Gimp is Photoscape, it has some nice unique features that can be useful for certain projects but does other things that I would rather do in Picasa or Gimp.
