Uploading pictures to my computer from my digital camera?

I have a Kodak Easyshare m320, but the way you upload pictures from this camera might be the same as other Kodak's, im not really sure. But how do you upload pictures to your computer?? Ive already put the disk that comes with the camera in my computer and downloaded everything, then i attached the usb from the camera to the computer, and clicked on the Kodak Easyshare software (which was downloaded from the cd) but i cant find anywhere on it where you can upload photos, and so im kinda stuck?? And when you attach the camera to the computer by the usb nothing seems the pop up about the camera becoming attached (but i know its working because my camera starts becoming charged up) so any help?? Thankyouu.

Turn the camera on after you plug it into your computer.

I have software for my camera but I choose not to use it because there is a much simpler way.
Go to 'My Computer'
Click on the icon which will be your camera. (It will say the name of your camera.)
Then click on the files until you find your photos. And simply drag them into 'My pictures.'

And yes after you plug in your camera, make sure it is plugged in.
