all i want is a simple camera that can takes pictures and put them on my computer that's it i don't want anything fancy but i want something that will last and take good enough pics
well that is a bit generic.
Try browsing for the Canon PowerShot series. They have good cameras.
The link below will show you a list of inexpensive cameras. Most of them will do exactly what you want. As for how long it will last----dont drop it, dont get it wet, dont abuse it, recharge the batteries properly etc etc. They will all last quite a while if you take care of them. If you drop it tomorrow it will be gone tomorrow.
Dont look at any off brands like VistaQuest on this list or any where else.
Dont fall for Roberts free camera scam or anyone elses. They are all frauds.
