I just got an olympus master 2 and its not working well i think atleast. when i zoom in the picture becomes dark and has spots all over the picture. is this just how the camera is or is there a setting i have to change? or is it just my camera? oh and im not even zooming in half way.

I would say the camera is faulty - return it and replace it with a Canon or Nikon.
