What is a good camera under $200?

I want a thin camera. 4x zoom or more
8 megapixels and up.
I had a Nikon cool pix but it took horrible pictures if there was not bright daytime light.
any other suggesstions?
where is a good place to buy for a great deal?

Canon PowerShot A1100-IS 12.1MP - $129

Its a great Camera in the price range and using AA batteries is a real plus. You dont have to buy an expensive proprietary battery as a backup or if the original goes bad and in a pinch you can use AA alkalines.

And niks ---- Check the specs again. I believe the SD1200IS has a 4x zoom as does the A100IS. Many of the same features but the A1100IS has the convenience of AA battery size.

I agree with niks. Canon SD1200 IS. Very good image quality. At crutchfield.com it's $149+shipping. A camera that costs a bit more but will give you a decent looking photo in dim light would be the Canon SD780 IS. Just set ISO higher for a dim light shot. It's also very good image quality.
